How it works
- Supports six angle units — degrees (°), radians (rad), gradians (gon), arcminutes (′), arcseconds (″), and revolutions (rev) — and converts your input to all of them at once.
- Conversions use radians (rad) as the base. With a full turn = 2π rad = 360° = 400 gon = 1 revolution, it computes 1 degree = π/180 rad, 1 arcminute = 1/60 of a degree, and 1 arcsecond = 1/3600 of a degree using exact definitions.
- To use it, enter the value you want to convert and choose its unit from the dropdown. The radian conversion is shown prominently at the top, with the full conversion table for every unit below.
- Because radians involve the irrational number π, conversions from degrees and other units do not divide evenly and are shown as approximations rounded to the displayed number of digits.
- Very large or very small values are shown in exponential notation (e.g. 1.2345e-7). When you need an exact result, we recommend verifying with the original definition.
