How it works
- Convert between five angular velocity units: radians per second (rad/s), degrees per second (°/s), revolutions per minute (rpm), revolutions per second (rps) and degrees per minute (°/min).
- The base unit is radians per second (rad/s). The input value is first converted to rad/s, then divided by each unit's factor to obtain every unit's value.
- The factors used are °/s = π/180, rpm = 2π/60, rps = 2π and °/min = π/(180×60) (one revolution = 2π radians = 360 degrees).
- Useful when you want to convert the rotation speed (rpm) of a motor or fan into angular velocity (rad/s). Enter a value and choose a unit to see the converted result for all units at once.
