How it works

Enter your date of birth, retirement age, and a reference date (the day to count from; defaults to today) to automatically see the days remaining until your retirement date.
Choose how the retirement date is set: the birthday on which you reach retirement age, the end of the fiscal year (March 31), or the end of your birthday month. Switch to match your employer's work rules.
Besides the days remaining, the tool shows the planned retirement date and the time left as years, months, and days. Enter a start date to also estimate your length of service at retirement.
With the fiscal year-end rule, those born April–December retire on March 31 of the following year, while those born January–March retire on March 31 of the same year.
If the reference date is already past the planned retirement date, the result is shown as the number of days elapsed since retirement.
