How it works
- Each unit price is calculated as price / quantity x base amount. The base is 100 g for weight, 100 mL for volume, and 1 piece for count.
- Switching the quantity unit (g, mL, or pieces) compares every product in the same unit. Enter the products you are comparing in the same unit.
- Only products with both a price and a quantity entered are included. Enter two or more products and the one with the lowest unit price is shown as the best value.
- The "vs. cheapest" column takes the product with the lowest unit price as the baseline (0%) and shows how much pricier each other product is, as a percentage.
- Use the "Add product" button to line up three or more products for comparison. You can delete products you do not need and rename any product freely.
- Note: the lowest unit price is not the same as the "best buy" once you factor in how much you need, expiry dates, and storage space. Use the results as a guide for purchase decisions.
