How it works

  • Cash payment is found as 'item price − points redeemed'. If the points redeemed exceed the item price, the excess is not applied and the payment becomes zero.
  • Points earned are calculated as 'eligible amount × earn rate ÷ 100', rounded down to a whole number. Actual stores and services may round differently.
  • Setting 'Earning on redeemed points' to 'on the full item price' makes the whole price eligible, while 'cash payment only' counts just the amount paid in cash. Handling varies by service, so check the terms of the provider you use.
  • The effective discount is 'points redeemed + points earned', a rough measure of how much you save on this purchase.
  • Calculations assume 1 pt = $1. Results change for services with a different conversion rate.
  • Displayed amounts and points are estimates and do not reflect campaigns, caps, or expiration dates.
