Rhombus Area Calculator
Find the area of a rhombus from its two diagonals (p and q), or from a side and height. Side length, perimeter and diagonals are computed too.
Input
Enter the two diagonals, or a side and height, to instantly find the area of a rhombus.

Lengths use the same unit as your input, and the area is in that unit squared.
How it works
- The area of a rhombus equals half the product of its diagonals: area = p × q ÷ 2, where p and q are the diagonal lengths.
- If you know a side a and the height h, the area can also be found as area = a × h.
- The side length follows from the diagonals as a = √((p÷2)² + (q÷2)²), and the perimeter is 4 × a.
- When entering a side and height, the height must be less than or equal to the side length.
- Lengths use the same unit as your input, and the area is in that unit squared.
