How it works
- Enter a date and time in Japan to see the local time and the difference from Japan for 15 major cities at a glance, handy for scheduling overseas meetings or flights.
- Choose 'Auto by date' to apply daylight saving time roughly from the month: Northern Hemisphere cities run about March to October, while Sydney in the Southern Hemisphere is reversed.
- DST start and end dates and whether a region observes it differ by country and year, so auto detection is only an estimate. Near the switch dates, toggle 'Always apply' or 'Do not apply' manually.
- Times are computed from each standard UTC offset, so details may differ from the time actually in use locally.
- When the local time falls on a different calendar day than Japan, the table also shows the local date (month/day and weekday).
