How it works
- Hourly wage is calculated as "annual income ÷ yearly hours worked." Yearly hours worked is found from "daily working hours × yearly working days."
- Enter your annual income in your local currency. The default of 240 working days per year assumes a two-day weekend with roughly 120 days off; adjust it freely to match your situation.
- The "hours worked per year" and "monthly pay (reference)" figures are supporting metrics. Monthly pay is simply annual income ÷ 12 and does not account for bonus allocation or take-home amounts.
- Actual working hours and income vary with overtime, bonuses, allowances, and paid leave, so this tool's results are only a gross (pre-deduction) estimate.
- The calculation is gross (before tax), with no income tax or social insurance deducted. For a take-home hourly rate, factor in deductions separately.
- This tool provides a rough guide only. For exact pay and working hours, check your employment contract, work regulations, and pay slips.
