How it works
- Calories burned are estimated as METs × body weight (kg) × duration (hours) × 1.05. Enter the duration in minutes; it is converted internally to hours (minutes ÷ 60).
- Choose between Recreational / casual (8.0 METs) and Competitive / match level (12.0 METs). METs express exercise intensity as a multiple of the resting metabolic rate (rest = 1).
- The METs values are reference figures based on sources such as the Compendium of Physical Activities. Actual intensity varies with position, workload, and playing style.
- Conversions assume about 234 kcal per bowl of rice and about 7.2 kcal per gram of body fat. Real values differ depending on food and energy-balance assumptions.
- The calories shown are only an estimate and vary by individual factors such as age, sex, body composition, skill level, and temperature.
- Use this as a reference for diet and condition management; consult a professional when accurate measurement or a health-related decision is required.
