How it works

  • Calories burned playing soccer are estimated with the common simplified formula "METs × weight (kg) × time (hours) × 1.05". Duration is entered in minutes and converted to hours internally.
  • METs (metabolic equivalents) is an index of exercise intensity relative to a resting value of 1. The higher the METs, the more calories you burn in the same amount of time.
